2024 is the Year of the Dragon!
In Asia and Chinatown cities worldwide, dragons are everywhere you look – mosaics and statues on temples, painted murals, on tiled rooftops and royal thrones, decorating plates, vases, lucky red envelopes, and kites, for the Lunar New Year dragon dancers parade through streets day and night.

This weekend we took a trip to Sonoma County– it’s the beginning of apple season, starting in August with Gravenstein apples. At Luther Burbank Experiment Farm kids can watch apples made into juice, then taste apple juice “fresh off the press.”
