Getting together on Christmas Eve and making tamales is a beloved tradition of Mexican-American families.
Inspired by the children’s book “May Your Life Be Deliciosa,” we wanted to make tamales.

For Mardi Gras, King Cake is a local treat in New Orleans, a lovely raised-dough cake, decorated with white frosting, and purple, green, yellow sprinkles, the colors of Mardi Gras.

One the most popular holidays in Europe is Epiphany, also called Three Kings Day. The holiday on January 6 celebrates the arrival of the Magi in Bethlehem, bringing gifts to the Christ child. Epiphany is observed with special cakes and sweets, parades, and presents for children.

Last Saturday we took a day trip to Napa, county has reopened restaurants, wineries, camping, hotels, regional parks in June.
We shopped at Napa Farmers Market, had lunch outdoors at the Oxbow Public Market, took a hike through Skyline Wilderness Park.
