Read more…Collioure’s yearly Anchovy Festival is delightful! We watched a colorful Catalan boat parade around the harbor, looked at pictures of Collioure painted by children, ate fresh-grilled anchovies, and bought anchovy-themed souvenirs.

Read more…A yearly event for in Petaluma, theme of Butter & Egg Days Parade is cows and chickens. Little girls are dressed as fluffy yellow chicks, people wear striped bee or black and white cow costumes, parade participants include local junior high and high school kids, businesses such as dairy products, egg farmers, plus old fashioned trucks and classic cars.
