Last weekend we headed out to Point Reyes National Seashore, one hour north of San Francisco. Two days warm sunny days to explore recreation of a Miwok village, hike down Tomales Point trail to look for Tule elk, watch elephant seals snoozing on the beach, and imagine Sir Francis Drake sailing into Point Reyes protected cove in 1579.
